Page speed is no longer optional. We break down LCP, FID, and CLS — and how to fix them fast.

Google's Core Web Vitals have been a ranking factor since May 2021, but many sites still fail the assessment. In 2025, with competition fiercer than ever, passing these metrics is a baseline requirement — not a bonus.

Understanding the Three Metrics

LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) measures how long the largest visible element takes to load. Target: under 2.5 seconds.

FID (First Input Delay) measures responsiveness to the first interaction. Target: under 100ms.

CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift) measures visual stability. Target: under 0.1.
